Avery Bradley is in his 7th year in the NBA at the age of 26 and he has truly made strides over the past few years to become an allstar caliber SG. Bradley was drafted out of Texas im the first round of 2010. He was considered a spotty shooter with amazing defensive capabilities and active hands.
This has changed over the past few years it has been very noticeable that AB (Avery Bradley) has worked and worked hard on his game. He has now gone from a spotty young shooter in 2010 to a knock down shooter with one of the most consistent midrange jumpers in the NBA.

Lets talk about these stats. AB has consistently become better in all facets of his game every single year in the NBA. He has become a starter at SG on a very deep Celtics roster with a ton of talent at the guard position. In 2014, AB shot 42.9% from the field which is respectable but in 2015 he upped his game and shot 44.7% from the field which is similar to some of the best shooters in the NBA like Gordon Hayward and Klay Thompson. People all have an extreme love for a guy like Hayward and Thompson but in reality they are all similar players.
Lets play a game real quick. Choose which player is who out of the 3 (Bradley Beal, Dwayne Wade and AB) from last year,
Player 1: 19.0 PTS, 4.6 AST, 4.1 REB, 1.1 STL, 45.6% FG% in 74 games, making $20 mil/year
Player 2: 15.2 PTS, 2.1 AST, 2.9 REB, 1.5 STL, 44.7% FG% in 76 games, making $8 mil/year
Player 3: 17.4 PTS, 2.8 AST, 3.4 REB, 1.0 STL, 44.9% FG% in 55 games (injury), making 22.1 mil/year
(Stats by Basketball-reference.com, Spotrac.com)
Player 1 is Dwayne Wade, Player 2 is AB and Player 3 is Bradley Beal.
If i were to be a GM in the NBA right now, I would choose player 2 to have on my team for many reasons. Player 1 and 3 are making $12+ mil/year more than player 2 (AB) while putting up similar number. AB is more valueable than Bradley Beal because of injury issues and lack of games per year. Likewise, AB would also be chosen over Wade because of contracts and how their numbers are similar.
Not only was AB inderrated last year, he has taken a HUGE step this year to place himself even farther into the role of an Allstar SG and one of the best SG's in the NBA.
In the first 6 games, Bradley has averaged 19.5 PTS, 8.7 REB, 4.3 AST while shooting 48% from the field. All this while making ONLY 8 MILLION A YEAR!!! This is crazy value for maybe the most underrated player in the NBA.
