The Arizona Rattlers are in the Arena Bowl, again. Arizona has dominated the AFL since 2012 and haven't looked back. They won three titles in a row from 2012-2014. They lost in the conference championship to San Jose who went on to win the title in 2015. San Jose folded after the title win, that basically handed the conference over to the Rattlers. There are no challengers in the National Conference for Arizona so it should be a cake walk to the Arena Bowl every year if the conference remains with the same teams. They won their playoff games, 81-42 and 84-40. Complete domination. The offense looks unstoppable with Nick Davila, Mykel Benson, and Rob Windsor earing All-Arena honors. Marcus Purify did not earn those honors but is one of the best receivers in the league.
They match up with the Philadelphia Soul in the Arena Bowl. Philly is locked in with Dan Raudabaugh a former MVP. They had to get through Jacksonville to get here and look pretty good right now. People will be out there saying that Arizona hasn't played a real team all year. There is no doubt in my mind that Nick Davila and Coach Guy will walk out of Glendale with another title next Friday night. Four out of five years for the best quarterback and coach in Arena Football history. |
